The research groupA research team from the University of Cordova, made up of Professors Francisco Jiménez Hornero, Juan Vicente Giráldez, Ana Laguna and Jorge Jiménez Hornero, has developed a new computer tool to predict the progress of erosion in arable land.  

Many dogs are put to sleep or abandoned due to their violent behavior, but contrary to what people think, the breed of the dog has little to do with aggressive behavior compared to all the factors that depend on the dog’s owner. This is what a new study from the University of Cordova has shown. The study included breeds that are considered inherently aggressive such as Rottweilers and Pit bulls. But the conclusions are surprising: the owners are mainly responsible for dog attacks based on dominance or rivalry.

Researchers at the University of Cordoba and the CSIC (Granada) (the Spanish National Research Council) discover the existence of the flower, originally from Turkey and national symbol of Holland, in botanical handbooks from the 11th century. The publication of their results in ‘Economic Botany’ surprises the scientific community.
